Good Afteeeernooon Bangalore. The city welcomes you with open…...um……well not the roads for sure. I am sorry if I sound annoyed. But It took me 6 hours to get to come to the studio today. You are probably going like, why am I staying 6 hours away aka 2 km from studio anyway? But no, I live only a stone throw away. Quite a heavy stone. If only I had my someone to throw me every day. Sadly, every time I get a date, they are already married by the time I reach the restaurant.
To answer your baffled faces, I did fall asleep for 3 hours in the middle of the road. So yes, there is that. Thankfully no one noticed and the car behind me was kind enough to honk when the rest moved an inch. I am usually a safe driver with a healthy amount of sleep to back me up. But I spent 8 hrs of my beauty sleep driving home yesterday. So, all I did is just climb 6 floors (see I take care of my health) to brush my teeth and I was already late. Another 30 minutes was spent on breakfast. To compensate I ordered my breakfast to-go. But then I could not go. Then it got very awkward. I even offered a fry to ease the tension. But he refused to have it, annoyed, as if I was the one to blame for blocking his window.
But you are still confused. Surely it can’t take 2 and a half hours to travel a ‘quite-a-heavy-stone-throw’ distance. There was actually another unavoidable halt, this time by the police. They complained that my car did not slow down when the brake light lit up for a brief second. And hence I am a threat to the ever-commuting mankind. But thanks to their card machines, paying penalty is as quick as a Zomato order. And now I that I have successfully reached the studio on time, let me play you the music you have been waiting for.
